As the Partnership Marketing Specialist for the hunting category, you will cultivate and nurture relationships with key strategic partners, influencers, and brand ambassadors to amplify our brand presence and drive engagement with our target audience. You'll participate in the development and execution of partnership communication plans that align with our brand values and marketing objectives, while also managing our ambassador program to inspire and mobilize advocates for our products. In this role you'll collaborate heavily with co-workers and work primarily on-site at our Beaverton location.



What You'll be Doing:

Partnership Development and Management:


  • Collaborate with the category product marketing manager to identify and prioritize potential strategic partners, including organizations, associations, and influencers, that align with our brand values and the hunting target audience.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key partners to develop mutually beneficial collaborations, sponsorships, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in the negotiation of partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring clear deliverables, objectives, and ROI metrics are defined and tracked.




    Ambassador Program Management:


    • Partner with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive ambassador program strategy to recruit, onboard, and engage brand ambassadors who embody the spirit of our brand.
    • Identify and recruit ambassadors across the hunting category that authentically represent our brand.
    • Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to ambassadors to empower them to effectively promote our products and brand values.




      Campaign Collaboration and Activation:


      • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to integrate partner and ambassador activations into overarching marketing campaigns and initiatives.
      • Support the development of campaign roadmaps which include brand, seasonal, and product launch initiatives and request deliverables from each partner to drive brand awareness and sales.
      • Develop creative and engaging communication packets that help our ambassadors share the Leupold brand and product stories effectively.
      • Coordinate and execute partnership and ambassador events, activations, and experiences to drive brand awareness and engagement.
      • Collect product feedback, insights, and ideas to help drive product and campaign innovations within Leupold.




        Performance Measurement and Reporting:


        • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of partnership and ambassador initiatives, including brand reach, engagement, and sales attribution.
        • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and ambassador activities, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies and optimizations.
        • Continuously evaluate and iterate partnership and ambassador programs based on data-driven insights and feedback.




          Skills & Experience You'll Need:


          • Bachelor's Degree in business, journalism, communications, or a related marketing field.
          • 3-5 years' experience in the marketing function of shooting sports, optics, or related industry company. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may also be considered.
          • Knowledge of marketing concepts and principles. Experience managing partnership marketing activities, including interaction with celebrity endorsers is a strong plus.
          • Knowledge of shooting sports, hunting, firearms, and associated optics applications.
          • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation. Ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple processes and activities simultaneously.
          • High level of creativity. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
          • Strong decision making, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to operate at both the strategic and operational level.
          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




            Work Environment:

            Candidate needs to be willing to travel 25% of the time, including weekend events with ability to work on-site the majority of the time.
