of Nursing announces a tenure-track faculty position in the College
of Nursing, to begin August 1, 2026. The College of Nursing is
seeking a faculty member who is enthusiastic about educating the
next generation of nurses in our growing pre-licensure
baccalaureate program. The ideal candidate will have experience
working with diverse populations across the lifespan, and have a
passion for serving vulnerable populations and underserved
communities. Experience as a nurse educator with classroom,
simulation, and clinical teaching experience is also highly valued.
About the Job: This is a full-time, 9-month position in the
pre-licensure BSN program in the College of Nursing. This is a
faculty position with teaching, student advisement, service, and
scholarship responsibilities. This position works closely with and
reports to the BSN Program Director. As a Christ- centered

responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching theory,
clinical and simulation/lab nursing courses. Establishing and
maintaining a positive learning environment. Participating in the
ongoing and innovative work of the College of Nursing. Developing
and maintaining professional working relationships with healthcare
agency professionals and other campus educators. Engaging in
scholarship that contributes to the advancement of nursing as a
profession. Participating in the work of the department and the
university, including advising and serving on university committees

including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of
teamwork, respect and customer service. By actions, words, and
lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through
casual contact or in a formal supervisory role. Demonstrating

background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc.
and works well with a variety of people. Other duties as assigned.
We're looking for candidates who have: Master of Science in
Nursing. Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Minimum of five years practicing as a Registered Nurse
(RN). Excellent professional interpersonal, organizational, and
communication skills. Commitment to maintaining consistently high
professional standards. The demonstrated ability to work
collaboratively with a growing, innovative team. The ability to
work full-time, in-person. A commitment to working with a diverse
population of students. A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and
express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition,
employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle
Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the
Statement of Faith. Preference will be given to those who have the
following attributes: Doctorate in Nursing or relevant field. CNE
or CHSE. Experience as a nurse educator in classroom, simulation,
and clinical teaching settings at a higher education institution.
Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population of
students. Salary and rank: Appointment at the Assistant Professor
level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching
experience at previous institutions may be considered for
appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. Salary and benefits
