Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A special education teaching opportunity is available
for a full-time, contract position serving students in grades K-12
at an onsite Oregon City school. The assignment begins ASAP and
continues through June 5, 2026, offering a full school year
commitment with a structured team environment supporting diverse
student needs. This role involves working in a collaborative
setting with six open positions distributed across elementary and
middle school levels, supporting student groups with developmental,
behavioral, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), communication, and
resource needs. Support staff assist in classrooms, ensuring a
team-based approach to individualized education plans and student
progress. Responsibilities include: Delivering individualized and
group instruction tailored to students with varying disabilities
and learning challenges Collaborating with teaching assistants and
specialists to implement behavior and communication plans
Monitoring student progress and modifying instructional strategies
as needed to meet educational goals Maintaining compliance with
special education laws and district policies Communicating
effectively with families, staff, and administration regarding
student performance and needs Qualifications: Active special
education certification/license valid in Oregon Experience working
with students requiring behavioral, developmental, or communication
support preferred Ability to collaborate with educational teams and
manage diverse classroom environments Provision of contact
information for most recent supervisor reference is required for
application consideration Location: Full-time onsite role in Oregon
City, OR. Collaborative support provided across two elementary
sites separated by two miles and multiple middle school settings.
