Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A school district in Oregon is seeking two full-time
Special Education Teachers to serve elementary students (K-5) for
the current school year on a contract basis. These positions are
located within an elementary school setting and focus on delivering
specialized, inclusive education to students with a range of
disabilities. Position 1: Structured Classroom Special Education
Teacher 1.0 FTE Classroom emphasizes social-emotional behavior
regulation for students with complex needs Caseload of
approximately 7 students Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Meaningful inclusion efforts support students transitioning to
general education environments Position 2: ERC Special Education
Teacher 1.0 FTE Serves a classroom of students with mild to
moderate disabilities Caseload of approximately 36 students
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM Creates a supportive
learning environment focusing on academic, social, intellectual,
and physical development with opportunities for inclusion
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Teaching Service
Plan (TSP) license required, preference for candidates holding a
Special Education endorsement Bilingual Spanish proficiency
preferred for both positions Experience working with diverse
learners and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong knowledge of behavior management and inclusion strategies
