Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and
compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026 school year
to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be
instrumental in supporting students with special needs, ensuring
they achieve their full communication and educational potential.
This role involves assessing student language abilities, planning
and implementing targeted interventions, and collaborating with
educational staff and parents to support individual student plans.
Assess students' speech, language, and communication skills using
standardized methods and tools. Develop and implement
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs and in
compliance with district guidelines. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy with
educational activities. Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting interventions as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary
teams to evaluate student progress and refine educational
approaches. Provide training and guidance to school staff and
families to better support students with communication challenges.
Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and
interventions. Ability to create and implement effective IEPs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in
using assessment tools and data-driven analysis for treatment
planning. Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
educational team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) State licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist First Aid and CPR certification
preferred
