Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time contract position offers an opportunity to provide
speech-language pathology services within a school setting in
Eugene, OR. The role involves leave coverage through June 12, 2026,
delivering direct support to students as part of a comprehensive
special education service area. The focus is on assisting students
with moderate to severe disabilities, emotional/behavioral
disorders, and at-risk youth, with additional collaboration across
augmentative communication and behavioral consultation services.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver speech-language pathology services
to students with diverse needs, including moderate and severe
disabilities - Utilize augmentative communication strategies,
including both low and high-tech systems - Collaborate effectively
with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams - Maintain
confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all
interactions - Document student progress and communicate findings
in writing and orally Qualifications: - Masters degree in
Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders - Valid Oregon
teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder
Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License - ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred - Experience
working with students with moderate to severe disabilities is
highly desirable - Familiarity with augmentative communication
systems - Valid Oregon Drivers License - Strong interpersonal and
communication skills - First Aid/CPR certification may be required
Location: On-site work based in Eugene, Oregon. This contract role
provides hands-on experience within an established educational
service district dedicated to supporting special education
