Job Title: RRT-NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid RRT license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Delivery attendance experience Neonatal intubation skills Description: This position requires a respiratory therapist specializing in neonatal intensive care. The therapist will work a night shift consisting of 12-hour rotations. The role is expected to deliver care to neonatal patients, including intubation. Candidates will not be floating between units. Weekend shifts will be required as part of the schedule. The expected patient-to-provider ratio is 1:1. The facility has a 4-bed ICU and does not have a dedicated NICU or PICU. Delivery attendance is part of the role, with the expectation of attending a few per day. The volume of neonatal intubations is infrequent, with less than 10 occurring each year. Additional requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Full compliance with all outlined requirements is necessary for the role.
