Job Description:
Job Description We are hiring a PRN Nurse Practitioner to
provide healthcare services in a correctional facility in Oregon
City, Oregon. Pay rates range from $77.90 to $80.00 per hour,
depending on experience, licensure, and shift. The NP will assess,
diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic
conditions, prescribe medications, respond to emergencies, and
ensure patient safety within a secure environment. Key
responsibilities include conducting physical exams, developing
treatment plans, managing conditions like hypertension and
diabetes, providing patient education, and maintaining accurate
medical records. Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in
nursing, current Oregon NP license, DEA registration, BLS
certification, and a collaborative agreement with an on-site
physician. Candidates should have knowledge of healthcare
principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Physical capability to perform
