Radiation Therapist Location: Salem, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,718 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of one (1) year Clienttion Therapy experience License: State licensure required Certifications: ARRT National Radiology, Basic Life Support Must-Have: Successful completion of a Clienttion Therapy program required Basic operations of Linear Accelerators; preferred experience with Varian Truebeam, Trilogy, Acuity, and GE Lightspeed CT Experience with SBRT, SRS, and Breathhold Visual Management Description: ASAP start for Clienttion Oncology Therapist. Shifts occur between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week. No call required. Responsibilities include: Simulating and administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the Clienttion Oncologist. Interpreting the prescription and treatment plan. Completing Patient Identification processes per department procedure. Maintaining audio and visual surveillance of the patient during treatment. Consistently and accurately positioning the patient for treatment. Imaging the patient as directed by the Clienttion Oncologist. Annotating portal images as appropriate. Observing the patient for side effects of radiation, changes in behavior, or unusual reactions and reporting observations to the Clienttion Oncologist, nurse, or supervisor. Using a digital camera to document treatment position and tattoos or field borders on the patient’s skin. Safely transferring patients from stretchers or wheelchairs using proper body mechanics and transfer techniques. Performing simple RadCalc calculations for emergency treatments. Constructing quality immobilization devices that promote reproducible patient positioning. Accurately fabricating custom blocks. Completing daily chart rounds to coordinate patient care and chart checks per department policy. Participating in weekly block room cleaning and HEPA filter checks, and documenting appropriately. Coordinating simulation with the clinic to support continuity of care. Candidates should have relevant knowledge and skills in radiation safety and patient/family teaching. Experience working in a fast-paced environment treating a high volume of patients daily is preferred. The role requires effective communication and coordination with healthcare teams.
