EEG Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,520 to $1,680 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $38.00 - $42.00/Hourly. Summary: The EEG Technologist is responsible for performing electroencephalographic (EEG) studies to record and analyze the electrical activity of the brain. This role supports the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions by ensuring accurate data collection, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Perform routine, portable, and ambulatory EEG studies according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns. Monitor EEG recordings for quality, artifacts, and abnormalities. Perform activation procedures such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation, and sleep deprivation when indicated.
