Locum Tenens Breast Imaging Radiologist Opportunity Near Silverton, OR We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position near Silverton, OR. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital-based Breast Center with potential for permanent placement. Position Details: Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiology - Mammography Location: Near Silverton, OR Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Rate Type: Hourly Shift Type: Days Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Job Description: Practice Setting: Hospital-based Breast Center Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday Trauma Designation: Level 4 (no ER volume as this is a Breast Imager position) Documentation Systems/EMR: Powerscribe dictation EPIC Mammography reporting Facilities: 1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at the main location 1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at the Imaging Center (only screening exams performed here) Support Staff: 2 daytime ultrasound techs 1 mammography tech 1 breast navigator who assists with stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and scheduling follow-up care Teleradiology: Not an option for this position (used for diagnostic radiology exams but not for breast imaging) Patient Demographic: Adult patients only Submission Requirements: Board Certification or Board Eligible: Required (must be Board Eligible within 3 years) Fellowship in Breast Imaging: Highly preferred State License: Active Oregon license required BLS: Required Proficiency: Required in mammography and breast biopsies Additional Information: The role offers a supportive environment with a comprehensive team and resources.
