Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system renowned for its commitment to compassionate care, is currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. This challenging position offers the opportunity to work across our network of hospitals and health centers in Oregon and Washington. As a Radiology Technologist at Legacy Health, you will utilize cutting-edge imaging technologies to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, helping us uphold our mission of improving the health of our communities with innovation and excellence. Perform radiologic procedures as prescribed by physicians ensuring compliance with organizational safety protocols and radiation exposure guidelines. Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure its optimal functioning. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and alleviating concerns. Follow and maintain patient records and radiology department logs with a high degree of accuracy. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to interpret images and assist in making diagnostic or treatment decisions. Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients, colleagues, and self according to federal and state regulations. Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols Excellent patient management and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if required by the state of practice)
