Description: Home visits are required for this position. Periodic
office meetings may be scheduled. Reliable transportation is
necessary. A current driver's license and agency-required liability
insurance are required. The average number of patients per day is
5-6. Points are assigned for each visit and activity, including
documentation and travel. Contractors typically have 5-10 patients
per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. If patient census is low,
please reach out to your supervisor to discuss options for
additional hours. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow
Ups. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic.
Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers are
compensated for travel between patient homes. The commute to and
from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates
are accepted under the same rate. Pending licenses are not
accepted; candidates must have a license unless it will take only a
few days to obtain. There may be variability in weekend
requirements based on the location. Discuss any on-call
requirements and weekend rotations during the interview. All
documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient
appointment. Delayed or incomplete documentation that impacts
billing and follow-up patient care may lead to cancellations. There
are no guaranteed hours with this contract. The contractor must
reach weekly productivity points of 30, equating to 40 hours per
week. All overtime must be pre-approved. If the contractor does not
receive enough patients to meet financial needs, options to float
to nearby clinics may be available. Experience with specific
electronic medical record systems is a plus. The contractor should
be comfortable accepting all patients on their schedule, regardless
of distance. This role involves driving to patients' homes daily
