LLC seeks a Big Data IoT Software Architect IV out of our office at
4555 N. Channel Ave., Portland, Oregon 97217. Note, this is a
hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and
from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must
live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned
office address. Note, this position requires domestic and
international travel up to 10% of the time. This position will
create plans with provisions for different business and technical
requirements that are implemented by Software Engineers for Big
Data / IoT systems. Develop software source code and new software
that will be released commercially for Big Data / IoT systems.
Create requirements analyses, platform selections, design of
technical architecture, design of application design and
development, testing, and deployment of proposed solutions. Utilize
experience with object-oriented design, coding, and testing
patterns as well as experience in engineering (commercial or open
source) software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures.
Apply experience with distributed caching, distributed key-value
and document data stores, data replication and conflict resolution,
and scale-out fault tolerance and data layer reliability. Lead,
architect, design, and develop secure, scalable, high-performance
and reliable Android Automotive framework software and services.
Drive and coordinate the technical strategy, design, and
implementation of architectural and technical tasks on Android Open
Source Project framework level. Ensure a stable product lifecycle
management and OS backwards compatibility.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science, or the foreign equivalent and 60 months of
relevant experience in Software Engineering or a related position.
Must have experience with: Android Debug Bridge (ADB); Android and
Linux Application Development; and Mobile Application
