Description/Preferred Qualifications Group/Division The Global
Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas,
CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and
Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations,
Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS
organization partners with our field teams and customers in all
business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity
of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our
comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to
identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image
processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers,
24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and
an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of
parts. The field support team is looking for a mechanically
inclined person looking for new opportunities to learn and enter
the fast-paced semiconductor industry. This role will be part of a
multi shift team that will provide direct response and recovery of
our most critical systems at our customers facility. Job duties o
Provide shift coverage to respond and recover critical systems at
our customer locations o Coordinate troubleshooting and data
collection as part of the service organization o Assures
operational updates of KLA equipment are provided with clear status
reporting to facilitate next steps in repair and recovery o
Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability
for customer satisfaction with KLA. Minimum Qualifications Desired
skills o Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal
skills. Must be a good team player with proven skills in
collaboration. o Critical thinking and strong analytical skills:
ability to collect and organize data to drive visibility to areas
requiring follow-up and action. o Should enjoy a challenging and
fast paced environment o Ability to balance multiple tasks and
activities with limited direct supervision to deliver on time
results Minimum qualifications o High school degree or equivalent.
o Demonstrated experience with maintenance, repair, or
troubleshooting o User level experience with Microsoft office suite
