Sysco, a global leader in the foodservice industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Delivery Driver Supervisor to manage our fleet operations and ensure timely, safe, and professional distribution of food products to our diverse clientele, including restaurants, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. This role is crucial in maintaining Syscos reputation for outstanding service and efficiency, ensuring that goods are delivered in accordance with company protocols and customer expectations. Oversee the daily operations of delivery drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. Plan, coordinate, and monitor routes to optimize delivery and fuel efficiency. Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve service and efficiency. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues that arise during the delivery process. Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations. Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring all trucks are operational and meet safety standards. Train new drivers on routes, delivery practices, and safety protocols. Prepare reports on staff performance and delivery operations for senior management. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in GPS and route management software Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to resolve conflicts and handle stressful situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred CPR and First Aid certification can be advantageous
