$22-24 Shipping and Receiving Clerk About the Role Our client, a
manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Shipping and
Receiving Clerk to join their operations team. This role is
essential to ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming
and outgoing shipments while maintaining compliance with U.S.
Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Census regulations. The
ideal candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team to
verify and maintain records on all shipments, prepare items for
transport, and receive and process incoming materials. This
position requires attention to detail, strong organizational
skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production
environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all U.S.
Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Census regulations for
international shipments Package customer orders to prevent transit
damage and verify accuracy against manifests, invoices, and work
orders Receive goods from shipping partners, unpack and properly
store materials, and verify quantities against documentation
Maintain accurate shipment records including weight, charges,
damages, and discrepancies for reporting and accounting purposes
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve
issues such as damages, shortages, or specification discrepancies
Pack, seal, label, and apply postage to outgoing materials Execute
inventory transactions accurately in the Material Resource Planning
(MRP) system Perform additional duties as assigned Required
Qualifications Education & Experience: High School Diploma or
equivalent Minimum 3 years of Shipping and/or Receiving experience
International shipping experience highly preferred Technical
Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with
Material Resource Planning (MRP) software Ability to safely operate
forklifts and other material-handling equipment Knowledge &
Abilities: Strong understanding of administrative and clerical
procedures Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and
distribution Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking
abilities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills Active listening
and ability to work collaboratively Physical Requirements Ability
to stand and move frequently throughout a production facility
Capability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs Visual acuity for
close detail work Required use of safety equipment including
steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves Compensation &
Benefits Compensation: Hourly Pay Range: $22-24 per hour DOE
