Job Description:
US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor in America, is
seeking a motivated and strategic District Sales Manager to oversee
sales operations in designated districts. The successful candidate
will play a crucial role in sustaining our mission to assist about
300,000 restaurant and foodservice operators in thriving. The role
requires a dynamic leader who will be responsible for driving sales
team performance, enhancing client satisfaction, and achieving set
financial targets. The District Sales Manager will ensure a high
level of service and manage business relations within the targeted
foodservice and restaurant industries, utilizing an extensive
portfolio of over 350,000 products including premium private label
goods. Lead and develop a diverse sales team to meet and exceed
sales goals Monitor market trends and competitively position our
products effectively Develop strategic plans for district sales
growth and profitability Collaborate with marketing and product
teams to expand product lines and promote key products Maintain and
expand customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
and loyalty Manage budgets, forecasts, and sales performance
reports to provide on-target results Conduct regular meetings and
training sessions with the sales team to ensure product knowledge
and sales techniques Strong leadership and team management
capabilities Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Profound knowledge of the foodservice market and customer base
Ability to analyze data and sales statistics to make informed
decisions Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Capability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them
successfully Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales
Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred Food Safety
Certification (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus
