Payroll Specialist - part time Company Description: Our client is a well-established nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals in our community. The organization needs a Payroll Specialist on a part time basis. Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for 38-40 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff Calculate shift differentials, night shift stipends, and mileage reimbursements for clinical employees Manage off-cycle or out-of-process payroll adjustments as needed Collaborate with Managers for timesheet approvals and payroll-related questions Utilize web-based payroll systems; Communicate with internal teams via Microsoft Teams and company-provided email Skills: Strong communication skills - highly responsive in a virtual environment. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals who are less familiar with payroll software and terminology. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
