Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nursing
Practice Quality Specialist to join our non-profit health system,
which encompasses six hospitals along with numerous primary care
and specialty clinics across Oregon and Washington. In this pivotal
role, you will be instrumental in advancing the quality of nursing
practices within our critical care units by implementing
cutting-edge improvement processes and ensuring adherence to
national quality standards. This position requires a blend of
analytical skills to assess practice methods, recommend solutions,
and educate staff on quality improvement initiatives. Evaluate
current nursing practices and patient outcomes to identify areas
for quality improvement. Develop, implement, and lead initiatives
to enhance the quality and safety of patient care in critical care
settings. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance
with national health standards and certifications. Organize and
lead training sessions for nursing staff on new protocols and
quality standards. Analyze data from quality improvement projects
to assess effectiveness and report findings to senior management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent
communication and training abilities Knowledge of quality
improvement processes and healthcare regulations Proficiency in
data management and reporting software Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certification in
Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar is highly desirable
